A heating vent cover is a real necessity for any home that uses forced air to heat the rooms in the house. This product is designed to simply cover the heating ventilation and air conditioning ducts that pose real decorating obstacles when exposed. There are many options available but finding a heating vent cover design that suits your d?cor has never been easier.
There is nothing more unsightly than exposed holes in a wall or floor. The right heating vent cover should fit the opening perfectly while offering a little decorative flair to the area. While you may think that an item like this really isn?t all that important a detail like a heating vent cover shouldn?t be underestimated.
When we moved into our cottage style home we discovered that the heating and air conditioning vents were not only placed in the floors but in the lower parts of some walls as well. This posed a little challenge for us. In addition, we had to find heating vent covers that fit different size holes.
There were already covers in place but I can say that the heating vent cover design that was put in this older home was way too unattractive for our tastes. The original design looked more like something you would find to cover an opening in a sidewalk rather than in the house.
I was especially disappointed in the heat vent cover that in my kitchen because it was so large. This unit actually did look like a sewer inlay that you see on city sidewalks. This was not the look that I was going for in my home?s d?cor.
Finding a large heat vent cover that matched smaller ones was not really the problem. Finding a set that I really liked was. I hated to be so picky about this little detail but I have come to learn that even a small item like a heating vent cover can add-or take away-from the overall design in the home.
Since the airflow was a little too much in the kitchen, my husband and I decided to opt for a magnetic heating vent cover for the area. This was the idea option for the space and I loved that I could actually paint, wallpaper or decorate the magnetic cover to blend into the floor.
The magnetic heating vent cover was such a hit in the kitchen that we opted to use this option throughout the house. This option has proved to be really beneficial for our needs.
