Celebrity Obituaries will always be controversial no matter what. When we spoke of a celebrity’s death, it will always be on the showbiz news especially if the celebrity involved is notable and popular. However, there had been some news organizations that have announced or written about obituaries concerning remarkable and popular celebrities as well as personalities. CNN is one of those news organizations that have done some reporting about Celebrity Obituaries. Most of the reported Celebrity Obituaries are premature and were announced in advanced to the public prior to the actual death of the celebrity. Some of the obituaries are not even true and do not have basis facts to prove the death. Let us discuss some of the announced and written Celebrity Obituaries by CNN so we would have enough knowledge about it. Also, knowing of the reasons for why these Celebrity Obituaries were announced and written.
The first in the list of Celebrity Obituaries is Earvin Johnson or more known as Magic Johnson and hailed as one of the best NBA basketball players of all-time. In 1991, Johnson was announced of having HIV positive. Because of this announcement, a follow-up report was done that Magic Johnson was already dead because his HIV positive disease had lead to AIDS. In Johnson’s obituary, the disease of AIDS was discussed. It’s written in his obituary that AIDS targeted Johnson because he is the only good black basketball player. It’s also written there that AIDS may only affect animals and homosexuals.
Also included in the list of Celebrity Obituaries is Mike Tyson who was reported to have died because of a suicide attempt on his BMW car. Based on his obituary, the car accident was caused by clinical depression and chemical dependence of Tyson causing him to make the suicide. Another reason for his suicide is a debt of 0 million. The obituary of Tyson says that he had suffered his final knockout and he is a bit of an asshole.
Lindsay Lohan was also included in the list of Celebrity Obituaries that hit the showbiz news. It was stated in her obituary that Lindsay’s cause of death was a car accident. The actress was drunk and had snorted cocaine while driving. She was only 22 when the accident happened. From this event, it was also mentioned in her obituary that numerous illegal drugs were found in the system of her body during the autopsy.
Other included in the list of Celebrity Obituaries that hit the CNN news are Phyllis Diller, Roy Horn, Abe Vigoda, and Dick Clark.
