How To Fight Wrinkles

By: Glen Jackson

If you are looking to fight wrinkles, you may be looking to start now, while you are still young enough to do something about it. Once the aging process has started, and those wrinkles have kicked in, it may cost a small fortune in anti-wrinkle creams and surgical options to remove them. There are a few steps that you can take to fight wrinkles and the earlier you do it, the better!

The first thing that you should do in order to fight wrinkles, is to make sure that you drink plenty of water on a daily basis. You should aim to drink between six and eight glasses of water per day to keep yourself healthy, and this in turn will keep your skin nice and healthy. It will keep your skin supple and also retain moisture which is needed to maintain it’s elasticity. This is just one way in which you can fight wrinkles, and it will keep the rest of you healthy as well!

The next thing you should do on a daily basis is to moisturize regularly with a good mositurizer. It doesn’t have to be a particulary expensive one, just one that will keep your skin nice and smooth. Be nice to your skin, pamper it every now and again, and it will look after you. Don’t dry it roughly with a towel, pat it dry with your hands. Constant wear and tear on your face will cause wrinkles, and the softer you are with it, the more you chance you have of fighting wrinkles.

If you like the sun, be protected. When the sun is at it’s highest, around midday, you are at the point where it can do the most damage to your skin. Premature aging is caused by many things, but constant exposure to the sun is one of them. Make sure you have adequate sunblock factors and always try to cover up, where possible when in the sun. Hats with wide brims are a good idea, as are sunglasses to try and prevent facial wrinkles. If possible, use fake tan instead of tanning beds and sunbathing.

Regular exercise and a good diet are all essential to keep you healthy. They are also essential to keep your skin at it’s best. The more nutrients and vitamins that you need that are taken in through your diet, will mean that your skin has more of these coming to them, and will look, feel and react better to daily life. If your diet has poor nutrition, then your skin will not be at it’s best and will look grey and worn, and this is when you are much more likely to be a victim of premature aging. Vitamins in your diet are essential to fight wrinkles, and taking supplements may be a good idea to ensure that your body, and especially your skin, are healthy.

Bad lifestyle habits, such as smoking and excessive drinking of alcoholic beverages will run youd own, and this in turn will lead to your skin being a poor condition. Drinking in moderation shouldn’t harm you too much, but binge drinking will lead to poor health and poor skin. To fight wrinkles, you must not smoke. Smoking is the main culprit for preamture aging, so if you don’t want wrinkles. don’t smoke!
