However, based on the statistics, the majorities of women nowadays prefer not to go to an actual makeup school due to the fact that they prefer to learn from their own comfort right from their home with the use of women’s magazine which is considered to be their professor.

It is more practical to learn by yourself than to go to any makeup school in town just to learn the techniques of make up application. This does not mean that going to a makeup school is not good. In fact, many of the famous makeup artists came from the prestigious makeup school around the world.
If you are in a tight budget and you think that you can not afford to be enroll in a makeup school, magazines are the best alternatives to teach you on how to apply makeup in various techniques. Typically, many of the magazines contain lists of the makeup brand names and shades that the make up artist used to their actresses and models in which it has the same lists from the makeup school. If you do not have enough cash to purchase those makeup products they listed, you may buy a cheaper makeup with the same color palette from the magazine.
But the disadvantage of using women’s magazines as your reference on makeup application is that the result is not as effective as from the makeup school. However, if you are willing to focus on applying makeup and do more practice, eventually you’ll be able to do a perfect makeup application just like you have been trained from a makeup school. All of these can be done without spending too much money from a makeup school.
