Craft Your Own Candle Holder From A Jelly Jar

By: Roger Cater

You'll need:

Glass jelly jar (a standard baby food jar or paste jar for example)

Crepe paper

Clear double sided tape or contact paper

Scissors

Small candle or tealight

Method:

Remove any labels and wash and dry the glass jar.

Cut out shapes from colored crepe paper, it's better to keep to the same color scheme. It maybe better to shape the shapes on a theme (Hearts, Shamrocks, etc...).

Cut a piece of double sided tape 1CM larger around than the crepe paper shapes.

Peel the backing off of contact paper.

Place each crepe paper shape onto the sticky side of the double sided tape.

Using scissors to trim the shapes ensuring to leave at least ½ CM of the double-sided tape exposed around the outside of the "shape".

Stick the shapes onto the glass jar. Insert a small candle or tealight.
