More Leo The Cat - Why Can't He Drive A Car?

By: George Bily

Pam was watching TV last night with Leo. He loves the Discovery Channel and A&E channels, so they were sitting there for hours, just relaxing.

During the commercials though, Leo has a bad habit of taking the remote and channel surfing. He gets too impatient waiting for the show to start, so he just starts flipping channels to see if he can find a Kitty commercial or better yet, a news report about a dog having to be put down for biting people.

Flicking the remote, he comes across the GEICO gecko.

He stops surfing, tells Pam to please be quiet, and stares in awe at the gecko driving the car.

A gecko driving a car!

He cannot believe it!

Walking up to the TV, he just sits and stares.

A gecko driving a car!

Turning to Pam, he starts to cry, tears running down his face.

"What is wrong?" said Pam.

"It's not fair! That gecko has his own car, and I still ride around in a taxi! Why?"

He throws himself onto his back, kicking his legs and yelling out "Where is the justice? Where is my reward for working so hard and providing for you and Jurge and Miss Kitty? Why does a gecko get a car and not me? Why, tell me Pam, why?"

Pam: "Because a gecko has sticky little fingers that allow him to hold onto the steering wheel and drive the car. You do not."

Leo: "Oh. OK."
