Ebay Selling - The Big Buzz Is Adding Auction Audio To Your Listings

By: Jane B. Clark

There is a simple and easy way to add more profit to your ebay auctions. Add your seller’s voice to your ebay listings. Would you buy something in a store where the salesperson just points when you have questions or ask for help? Probably not. Everyone likes a good sales presentation. By sales presentation, I don’t mean hype. I mean telling your ebay shoppers the features and benefits of the items you are selling.

Adding audio to online auctions is the big buzz among ebay auction sellers. Adding your seller’s voice to your auction listing is as easy as picking up the phone.

For those who have added audio to their auctions, the feedback is very, very good.

Skip McGrath, Gold Powerseller & Founder of Auction Seller's Resource Newsletter "...we were selling one or two $249 barbecues each week. Then I added SellersVoice. WOW is all I can say. We're now selling almost one every day. That's almost a 600% increase in sales." Skip McGrath is an auction guru from the state of Washington. He uses voice on part of his website, as well, with great success.

Stu McLaren of Ontario, Canada added audio to speed up the time it takes to list his auctions by using voice descriptions. He was surprised to find out that he made more money on his auctions. He had a 306% increase in one of his auctions by using the same written auction listing and simply adding his own seller’s voice. "...I got a 306% increase for exactly the same items..." Stu considers himself an average ebay auction user with about 10 listings a month. He is a good example of someone who isn’t a power seller, but still had a very big increase in his profits.

Whether you are selling lots of small items or a few large items, an increase in profits is always every ebay seller’s goal. Try a simple calculation and add a modest 25% increase to your ebay profits. It is certainly worth considering adding audio to your auction listings. Add excitement and your personality to your ebay auctions with your own seller’s voice.
